Quartet sign new deals at Berwick Rangers
Jordan Sinclair, David Ferguson, Jack Cook and Craig Reid have penned new contracts that will keep them at Berwick Rangers until summer 2023.
Midfielder Jordan Sinclair, 24, joined the club last summer from Edinburgh City FC and told the club’s website: “I’ve really enjoyed my first season at Berwick so far apart from everything that’s gone on with Covid-19.
“It makes me really happy to be extending my stay and signing a two-year contract. I’m really looking to seeing our fans back in the ground and hopefully we can kick on as team for the rest of this season and beyond.”
Former Motherwell defender Ferguson, 24, has made 11 appearances so far this season in all competitions and has signed-on at Rangers alongside fellow defender Jack Cook, 23, who will continue to be the club’s longest serving player having joined Rangers in January 2017.
In that time, he has racked up more than 70 appearances for the ‘Gers, including four this season.
Defender Craig Reid, 22, signed from Newtongrange Star last summer, completed the quartet of signings, and told the club’s website: “I’ve loved my first season at what is such a great club.”
He added: “Unfortunately, I picked up an injury just before the most recent break, but I can’t wait to get back playing. I had an MRI scan recently and now it’s just a case of giving my back the time it needs to recover.”
