It is almost four years since the restaurant arrived in Berwick, becoming an instant favourite with locals and visitors.

It won the Best Casual Dining Restaurant in Northumberland award, after being voted for by local residents.

The key to its success is to offer fresh authentic Italian food at great value for the whole family.

Its new purpose-built premises is much larger with very exciting decor.

The owners and management have listened to their loyal customers, keeping old favourite dishes and creating new. Many asked for outdoor eating, so a walled courtyard has been created for the summer months, beautifully designed with olive trees and garden herbs between seating that gets the sun all day, served by a terrace bar.

As the restaurant itself is much bigger, it can accommodate larger parties, with a stunning extension that can be hired out for private functions.

Being a new-build in an old shell has meant upgrades all round, including a new top-end air extraction system and kitchen facilities to help get food to tables in the quickest time, led by head chef Shane Taplin.

It has also been granted a later licence, so cocktails can be served until midnight.
