Winners crowned in art group exhibition
The Berwick Art Group held its annual exhibition at the Watchtower Gallery, Tweedmouth, from October 11 to 22.
The preview evening was held on October 10 when Ranald Wylie welcomed the public and the judges, Kate Stephenson, the owner of the Watchtower Gallery, and Fiona Stott.
The best in show, awarded by Kate Stephenson, went to Jancis Courtney for her painting of the breakwater at Spittal, with Jennifer Calver winning the highly commended.
Judith Currie won the Fred Stott Memorial Trophy for her watercolour of the Eildon Hills, awarded by Fiona Stott, with Diane Janes highly commended. Judith Currie also has her paintings exhibited at the Regency Gallery, Paxton House.
Cards and prints were also for sale.
