Welfare advice is on offer at the Legion
The new North Northumberland Branch of the Royal British Legion will welcome the RBL Senior Independent living advisor Paul Robinson to their summer fun morning of information, relaxation and good home baking at the next Naafi break coffee morning.
It takes place on Tuesday, September 6, from 10am to 1pm in the Berwick Voluntary Centre, 5 Tweed Street.
All supporters of the armed forces and veterans are welcome to come along and enjoy cake and coffee while Paul will be on hand to assist and advise veterans on living independently in their own home.
He will also be able to provide advice about what services and items are available and also challenging decisions made by the local authority in respect of aids and adaptations, disabled facilities grants and care packages.
Paul’s team also works alongside the Handy Van Service, which can carry out the installation of mobility aids.
