After April brought some gloriously warm and sunny weather during the lockdown, it doesn’t look like we’ll be spending much time in the garden over the next couple of days.
The first weekend of May looks set to be a mostly cloudy one in the county.

Morning
A dry and sunny start with a 5-10% chance of rain, but clouding over around 10am.
Afternoon
Prepare for some light showers around 3pm, followed by sunny intervals.
What will the weather be like on Sunday, May 3?
Forecasters predict Sunday will be mainly cloudy with temperatures reaching highs of around 11C.

It will be overcast and cloudy most of the afternoon but should stay dry.

According to the Met Office, the region can expect a mostly dry start to the weekend, with some bright and sunny spells.
However cloud bubbling up, with showers developing by afternoon, locally on the heavy side. Showers gradually decrease through the evening.
