Walking to d'feet motor neurone disease
More than 60 people took part in the recent Lindisfarne Walk to D'Feet MND, raising over £1,700 so far.
Colin Hardy, of the MND Association, said: “We would like to thank everyone who took part, donated or sponsored a walker. Over the past three years, the event has raised over £9,500 and with a bit of luck we will pass the £10,000 mark. All money raised will be used to support people living with motor neurone disease in Northumberland and to fund research into finding a cure for this horrendous disease.”
Special thanks were expressed to ASDA Tweedmouth. W.S.Robson Chain Bridge Honey Farm and the Lindisfarne Mead Co for their continued support.
