Berwick Rangers are now delighted to confirm that the event is coming to Berwick, taking place between 6pm and 7pm every Monday night, on Old Shielfield.

Starting May 16, all over 50s are welcome to go along, and everyone who attends the first night can even enjoy the session completely free of charge.

Back in January, organiser Matty Moor said: “It’s great fun.

“The ‘walking’ element allows for the creation of a level playing field for all involved. The beauty of that is that it helps to ensure a competitive environment for all players.

“But there’s no doubt it’s very testing, too. You must constantly think about your movement to try to stay one step ahead of the game. There’s an argument that by slowing things down, it introduces a more tactical battle.

“And, of course, because of your constant movent, it makes for a great cardiovascular workout, too.”

Players are asked to enter via Gate A. For more information on the event, contact Matty on 07470 032678.
