The benefits of a massage felt at Berwick school

Early Years children from St Cuthbert's First School in Tweedmouth invited their parents and grandparents to take part in one of their peer massage sessions.

The Early Years children from St Cuthbert's First School invited their parents and grandparents in recently to take part in one of their 'peer massage' sessions.

Clare McGregor, head teacher, said: “We started as a way to improve fine motor skills but found that children have become calmer and have improved concentration.”

She added: “The children are highly responsive and often ask staff when the next session will be!
