Talk by regeneration experts
The next meeting of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Civic Society will be held on Wednesday, February 13, at 7.30pm at The Parish Centre, opposite Holy Trinity Church.
The speakers on this occasion will be Ken Dunbar, managing director of Advance Northumberland, Northumberland County Council’s new regeneration company, which has replaced Arch.
Joining him will be Tony Kirsop, the council’s community regeneration manager.
The presentation will be on the subject of Berwick and how to regenerate a town.
Civic society chairman Zoreen Hill said: “Mr Dunbar’s talk will focus on town centres with unique characteristics, of which Berwick is one, without doubt.”
All are welcome to attend the event.
Entrance is free to members of the civic society (you can join at the door) and £2 for visitors.
Refreshments will also be available.
