The five winners, picked at random, will be awarded a National Trust annual family pass. There will also be 50 runner-up prize bundles up for grabs.

The competition is part of Pets at Home’s summer My Pet Pals campaign which aims to teach children about responsible pet ownership.

Mark Adair, store manager at Pets at Home Berwick, said: “Our summer challenge is designed to inspire a sense of adventure in children, with the opportunity to learn more about the natural world around them.

“One of the tasks is to attend a free workshop in our store, so we hope to see lots of local families getting involved and we wish everyone the best of luck!”
