Tait to host new Rangers TV channel
Berwick Rangers have confirm that former striker Eric Tait is to host their television channel, BRFC TV.
As part of his role as presenter, he will interview club manager John Coughlin immediately following home matches, and as a man who’s been in charge of the team himself, Newcastle-based Tait is confident he’ll be ideal for the role.
“I feel honoured to take up the role of presenter for BRFC TV and was delighted to be asked,” he said. “What I’ll ask will, of course, depend on what happens on the park, but having played myself, it might help to bring a different viewpoint to question from.”
The club are sure the ex-Morpeth Town coach will make a positive contribution to their media content, and as the club continue their attempts to improve communications with fans, the 64-year-old is over the moon about being able to play a part.
“This is a role that I feel really suits me,” he said.
“I’d do anything for the club. I love Berwick Rangers. I’d be absolutely destroyed if anything were to happen. It doesn’t bear thinking about.”

Despite acknowledging that the ’Gers are having a tough season, the former player-manager believes the team will steer clear of danger.
Tait will make his debut as a presenter following Saturday’s home game against Montrose, and he believes it could be a key fixture.
“The next week is huge, but if we turn in performances with that kind of desire I think we could drag ourselves up the league,” he said.
“By the time we play Montrose, that fixture could be very interesting.”
