It's not everyday you arrive at school to find a dinosaur roaming around outside but that is what the pupils and parents of Norham St Ceolwulf's C of E First School.

Jam, the Tyrannosaurus rex, had come to find her eggs which she had laid earlier that week in the school hall.

The children were treated to an exciting assembly where they found out more about the T-rex and took part in a green screen computing workshop, making videos.

Pupils were devastated to see Jam leave later that day but were inspired to write letters, stories and reports all about Jam.

Last week, the school had a Burns Night ceilidh in the village hall.
