The event, held at Seafield Park, attracted a large crowd enjoying the cakes and goodies on offer along with copious cups of tea and coffee.

Money is still coming in but the total raised is expected to be more than £1,500.

Entertainment was provided by the fabulous Band With No Name who played two sets and had the crowd singing along, plus the ladies of Luna Nigra dance group who showed it was not only the gazebos that could sway majestically in the breeze.

Turning back the years, Spittal’s own Len Shepherd showed some nice dance moves while belting out his set of oldies.
