Mr Moor has quickly got involved in the life of the school and, working alongside existing staff, has already planned a range of activities and clubs for the spring term, ranging from archery to yoga, thus providing pupils with opportunities to experience something new.

Headteacher Gary Hilton explained Mr Moor’s appointment not only helps the school in terms of increasing the range of sporting activities available to the children, but he will also be involved in the development of new playground activities as well as mentoring programmes aimed at some of most vulnerable children.

With Mr Moor already taking on school council duties and being part of the school’s Forest School initiative that launches in the summer term, Mr Hilton feels it will be a very exciting time at St Mary’s and a very busy one, not least for Mr Moor who is definitely up for the challenges ahead.
