Spreading the '˜good news'

The idea of a University of the Third Age was launched in France in 1973.

Now, there are U3A groups all around the world.

In the UK alone, there are over 950 groups, running 36,000 courses for some 350,000 people.

Wooler U3A was started in 1993 and currently has over 100 members from Glendale and beyond.
