Silver for Andrew in Estonia
Northumberland curler Andrew Reed (pictured right) has returned from Estonia where he won a silver medal with England in the B Final of the European Championships.
England missed out on the gold medal when they were beaten by Denmark in Tallin.
Reed, who comes from Ancroft near Berwick, is a member of the Glendale and Coldstream clubs and curls out of the Border Ice Rink at Kelso.
England won promotion to the Premier Division of the championships which also qualified them for the World Curling Federation Men’s Championships in New Zealand in January, which had been their primary aim.
