SERVICE: Supporting Christian work
Particular thanks go to all who so generously hosted and participated in the service, which was this year prepared by the Christian women of the Philippines, who asked us to reflect on issues of justice and fairness.
Members of all the local Christian churches and organisations were represented and contributed to this service, which was one of over 5,000 held in the UK that day.

A total of £164.50 has been forwarded to the Women’s World Day of Prayer Movement to support it in its work for Christian unity throughout the world, towards the work of Christian education and welfare-related projects.
The 2018 service comes from Suriname and the local service will be held in Alnwick Baptist Church.
