Seahouses lifeboats aid grounded dive boat
Both Seahouses lifeboats were launched this afternoon to go to the aid of a boat which had grounded at the Farne Islands.
The RNLI’s all-weather Grace Darling and the inshore Peter Downes went out the islands at about 1.30pm, where a dive boat had taken on water and grounded.
Crews reported that all were safe and well.
On Tuesday, the crew was scrambled after a woman fell ill while diving near the Farne Islands.
She was flown by air ambulance to a decompression chamber at Hull.
