Scott's a jolly good Fellow
Seahouses and District Rotary Club went to Village Farm, North Sunderland, where farmer, sheep dog breeder and expert trainer Scott Smith put his dogs through their paces, delighting the Rotarians.
After the display the Rotarians returned to the Olde Ship Inn in Seahouses, and presented Scott with their highest award, a Paul Harris Fellowship, for his major contribution to the life of the community and embodying the Rotary ideals of ‘Service before Self’.
Scott Smith OBE has spent a lifetime serving his community, organisations and charities throughout the North East.
Rotarians were delighted to honour the achievements of a founder member of the Seahouses and District Club. President Andy Bardgett presented the award.
