The Grove School's scone business has been sponsored by James and Angela McLean from Border Eggs.

Maple and Willow Class would like to thank James and Angela McLean from Hutton-based Border Eggs for sponsoring their scone business.

They very kindly provide eggs each week so that the children can make scones to sell to the staff in school.

The children benefit from the profits made by the business by being able to enjoy extra trips out of school.

The children have been on a sailing boat on Kielder Water and also enjoyed a trip to Kirkley Hall Zoo.

James and Angela have also given a very generous donation to school which will be used to buy rise and fall sinks. The sinks will ensure that all of the children in school are able to use them.

The Grove provides placements for pupils who have complex learning needs covering a broad spectrum of difficulties.
