Some of the students celebrate the SATs results.

The school once again bucked the trend in terms of national averages and is well above national in the combined score for reading, writing and maths.

Headteacher Ben Hulbert said: “Our pupils have done themselves, their parents and their teachers proud again.

“This combined figure measures how well pupils have done in reading, writing and maths and is so important for parents to judge how well a school is performing.

“This is on top of last year’s success when we were praised by the local authority for our results.

“For a full breakdown, do have a look on our school website.

“Add to this the recognition for the improvements we continue to make from an Ofsted HMI in November and successive good judgements from our School Improvement Partner in April and July this year, and it is easy to see why pupils and staff are feeling so positive.”

He added: “A massive thank you must go to all pupils for their hard work, to all staff for their unwavering commitment to the success of their pupils and to all parents and carers for their much appreciated support throughout the year.”
