Carriageway reconstruction work on the B6460 Paxton to Greenlaw road will mean it being closed on week days from 8am-4pm on the Hutton to Paxton stretch between Spital West Mains and Spital Mains.

Scottish Borders Council has issued a temporary traffic regulation order from Monday to Friday, September 25 to 29, and also the following week from Monday to Friday, October 2 to 6, from 8am-4pm during both weeks.

There will also be a two-way convoy system operating on the A1 at Brockholes, south of Grantshouse, while carriageway patching is carried out.

The disruption is likely to last for two days, on Monday, September 18, and Tuesday, September 19.
