Resurfacing work starts on Prince Edward Road

A £60,000 scheme to resurface the car parking area on Prince Edward Road in Tweedmouth has started.

The work is scheduled to take two to three weeks and will involve a slight extension of the car parking area.

Last year, resident Ronnie Harley organised a petition after his wife fell on the broken surface and called on help from Coun Georgina Hill, who secured council funding.

Coun Hill said: “It is good news that this work has now started, the NCC team, as ever, will try to ensure that any disruption is kept to a minimum.”
