Reduced scale plans for site near old pub
Amended plans to build two properties on land adjoining a former pub have been submitted.
It is now intended to build a pair of one-and-a-half storey semi-detached homes next to The Grove on Etal Road, Tweedmouth. It is a resubmission of an application which was refused in 2016.
A planning statement by Yeoman Architecture, on behalf of the applicant, states: ‘To address the concerns of the consulted neighbours, the overall height is now 7250mm in a changed format of one-and-a-half storey dwellings as opposed to two storey dwellings.’
However, there are still objections from several local residents.
Coun Gregah Roughead said: “We ask for consideration to be given to the objections by residents.”
