Baby product retailer Mamas & Papas has issued a 'Product Advisory Notice' concerning the use of models from its cots range.

The UK-based company say that they have received customer feedback about difficulties assembling or reassembling Alten, Rialto, Riverside and Sienna cots.

Stressing "the importance of following the instructions when assembling the cots", a Video Tutorial and PDF Instructions are available for each of the products.

The company say that anyone currently using the cot in cot mode should watch the assembly check video, making sure to check the top rail as shown - if this is secure and no fixings are missing, they can continue to use the cot with confidence.

Mamas & Papas' customer care team can be contacted on 0800 014 8525, who will be extending their opening hours and will be able to assist.

The company ask that owners of the cots in question should not seek assistance at their stores as they will be unable to help in this instance.

Anyone taking down or taking apart the cot who plans to use it again in cot mode in the future is advised to keep all the original parts and fittings together, along with the product instructions and the website address so that the videos can be viewed when reassembling the item.
