England begin their final preparations for the World Cup this Saturday - and here's everything you need to know ahead of the clash with Nigeria.

Gareth Southgate's side welcome the Super Eagles to Wembley in their first World Cup warm-up game.

The Three Lions will then hit the road as they face Costa Rica in Leeds during the week.

Nigeria's visit will give England fans their first glimpse at the squad set to head to Russia later this month for the World Cup.

Belgium, Panama and Tunisia will provide the opposition during the tournament, with the Nigeria game a real test ahead of the big games overseas.

When is the game?

The game takes place on Saturday, June 2 with a 5:15pm kick-off.

Wembley is the venue for the friendly before the Three Lions later head to Elland Road.

Who will be playing for England?

Gareth Southgate has named his 23-man squad for the World Cup, all of whom could feature in this game.

But the England boss could also pick from a longer list of players for this friendly if he wishes.

Five players were named on England's standby list and could be selected if required.

It is likely that Southgate will use this outing as a chance to test different systems and personnel and ahead of the World Cup.

For players, it's an opportunity to stake their claim for a starting place in Russia.

Reports from London have suggested that Kieran Trippier and Eric Dier will definitely start, although the rest of the squad remains unknown.
