Calling all farmers. BBC One's The Farmers' Country Showdown is looking for farming families who intend to show, enter awards, take part in food festivals or produce competitions during the June to November period of 2018.

This is the series that celebrates inspirational farming families and the events where they compete to showcase the very best of what they do.

Across the series, these hard-working devoted farmers who are the backbone of the rural economy, give us a unique insight into what it's like to work the land.

Some are multi-generational, carrying on their family's legacy going back hundreds of years, others are new to the land but just as passionate.
