Rangers to face Airdrie, Hamilton and Livi
Berwick Rangers have been drawn in Group F of the Betfred Cup and will play four games against Livingston, Hamilton Accies, Airdrie and Annan.
The games will be played next month (between July 14 and 28), on a Saturday/midweek basis, with each team playing four matches, two at home, two away. Official dates will be announced on June 4.
Livingston and Hamilton are both Scottish Premier League sides, Airdrie play in League 1 and Annan in League 2.
As per last season a drawn game will go straight to a penalty shoot-out with the winners of that being awarded an extra bonus point.
This will be Berwick’s first competitive match up with Hamilton since 2007 and for Airdrieonians the last competitive fixture against was in 2008. Berwick last played Livi in 2013 whilst they meet Annan on a regular basis as like Berwick they compete in Scottish League 2.
Fixtures for the 2018-19 season will be published in June.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the club’s shirts will carry the name of the Northern Soul Kitchen next season after David Letham won the draw and gifted the prize to the charity.
