Pupils donate knitted blanket to charity

St Cuthbert’s RC First School Mini Vinnies started an after-school knitting club last term. Each child knitted small squares which were then kindly sewn together by dinner lady Shirley and made into one big blanket.

St Cuthbert's RC First School Mini Vinnies started a knitting club and made a blanket which they have donated to the Salvation Army group in Berwick.

Linda Moffat, Mini Vinnies lead, said: “The children wanted to donate the blanket to someone in need, so they decided to give it to the Salvation Army group in Berwick.”
