Christmas at Prior Park.

It was all part of a Christmas event organised by the residents’ group.

Santa made a guest appearance and met the good children from the area, as well as residents at Roberts Lodge.

There were also lots of fun activities on offer to keep the youngsters entertained.

Coun Karin Graham, member for Grove ward on Berwick Town Council, said: “The event was cold but a great success.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to Penelope Derries, head at The Grove School, for allowing us to use the playground during the evening. A huge thank you also to Kevin Dixon for the use of his work van and to Nixons for their generator.”

Sunday saw Santa visit the estate for his annual trip around the doors, with lots of sweets handed out to delighted children.

“I would personally like to thank everyone on the residents committee and all of my residents for their tremendous efforts throughout this year on the ward,” added Coun Graham. “I wish them all a very happy Christmas and a peaceful, healthy, prosperous New Year.”
