I would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers and donators for their continued support over the last year.

Thanks to you all we have raised a massive £76,000 profit, which will go towards vital research into heart disease, the UK’s number one killer.

I would also like to thank our wonderful team of volunteers, who come in day after day with such dedication and enthusiasm to help us in our fight to save lives.

These people are the heart of our shop and we couldn’t do it without them.

However, in order for us to continue our fight we need your help.

Are you a book lover? Do you have pre-loved books somewhere gathering dust?

Last year book sales in our shop reached £22,000.

This is amazing but it takes a lot of books to make that amount of money, so please search your shelves, check in your attic or garage, even under your bed and hunt out those books you know you will never read again.

Your books could be raising lots of money to help people suffering from heart disease.

Too heavy, don’t worry we have a free collection service, just call 01289 332198 and we will come and collect.

It also takes a lot of work to look after our book department and we would love to hear from you if you are a book lover and have some free time.

We need people to sort, price and research our donated books, whether it’s for one hour or ten, it will help us continue to be successful and to help save lives.

Again, thank you to everyone who has been part of our success, I look forward to seeing you all over the coming year.
