According to internal migration data nearly 10,000 people moved from Northumberland to elsewhere in the UK, the most recent figures show.
In fact, in the 12 months to June 2019, 9,414 people moved from Northumberland to somewhere else in the UK.
That’s according to internal migration data from the Office for National Statistics.
