Emergency services called after teenager injured on Northumberland beach

Seahouses and Howick Coastguard Rescue Teams were called at around 4.44pm to help the ambulance service after the 15-year-old boy became injured on the beach at Beadnell Bay on Monday, August 10.
A Howick Coastguard Rescue Team spokesman said: “The team were paged at 4.44pm by Humber Coastguard to assist our flank team Seahouses Coastguard Rescue Team and North East Ambulance Service with a 15-year-old male who had suffered a dislocation to his knee on Beadnell Beach.

Hide Ad“On arrival the casualty had already been treated by paramedics from NEAS and was ready for transporting off the beach.
"One of the Coastguard vehicles was used for this and the casualty was taken to Beadnell Beach Car Park and transported to hospital for X-Rays.
“We wish the young man a full and speedy recovery.”
