Care home’s two fond farewells
Two separate parties were organised at Tweed View Care Home in Berwick to mark the retirement of two key people at the home.
Presents, bouquets of flowers and cards were given and refreshments – including retirement cakes – were consumed during the events at the establishment, run by Berwick Care Homes Ltd.
A wonderful time was had had by all.
Tony Hacker, Berwick Care Homes manager, said: “Moira Simpson was for 20 years the manager of care at the home, and a very successful one.
“Davina Runciman spent 23 contented years at Tweed View and became a very dedicated line manager.
“We are all sorry to see these fine, hard-working and loyal persons retiring, but now they have the time to enjoy doing the things that they wish to do.”
