Tuck into a tasty fund-raising event
Today (Thursday) sees the afternoon tea taking place at Upper West Street. A tasty fund-raising event is promised.
Then on Sunday there will be a sponsored Studiomash event at Limitless Studios in Berwick. Good luck to everyone and if you would like to offer sponsorship pop into either of its sites or check out its facebook page for a link to online fund-raising.
We are currently planning our Dog Show, which this year will be held on Sunday, July 28, at the Stanks.
Would you be interested in having a stall? We have lots planned so are hoping for lots of extra interest around the rink for a good turnout. Please contact the kennels if you would be interested.
We have a couple of hairy male guineas looking for a home together. They are a nice pair who have always got something to say for themselves.
Also, we have Belle, an 18-month-old cockatiel. Although she is in need of hand taming, she is still very much a youngster.
Benny, the husky type, is still with us. He has a great side to him, very people friendly, although we would not rehome him with children. He has some issues with his legs, but with regular short exercise is coping well. He loves to have a sniff and can walk well on a lead when focused on his walks.
Despite focusing on Tara a couple of weeks back, she hasn’t had a single enquiry. Tara is 12 and a larger cross with a lovely, thick coat. She loves her walks and sleeping. She is very tolerant when walking around other dogs. She walks well on a lead, but can occasionally pull and show just how strong she is.
In our cattery we have some super cats. All the cats, with the exception of Rosie, need to have access to outside.
Rosie is an older girl who just wants a warm and loving home with someone who has time for a chat.
Basil is a stunning black cat, perhaps a Siberian, with the most enormous tail and a slightly longer coat. He loves affection, but on his terms.
