Tara in bid to find her retirement home
Tara is a lovely golden oldie.
She walks well on a lead, but when the urge takes her to go somewhere she can be very determined. She is now 12 and wants a quiet home where she will get her walks and can enjoy retirement. There is no history around children, but she would be better suited to older children as she does prefer the quieter life.
Jax is a nice sized dog, smaller than a docker and bigger than a Jack Russell. He was born early 2016. He loves walks and playing. Sadly, he became protective of his owners and their children so needs a home where the pressure of being the protector is taken off him. Training classes to build his confidence will benefit him. Although smooth-coated, he has great little fringes on his ears.
Indi, the male dalmatian, born in 2011, is still with us. He has lost weight and is walking well on a lead now, although he can still have moments of strength.
Felix, a black and white four-year-old cat, came in with Smudge. It soon became apparent that they did not like each other. Since being separated he has come out his shell and is ready to look for a quiet home as an only pet.
Titch is a ginger cat who is very loving and affectionate. He is looking for a home (sorry not in the Eyemouth area) where he will reward an owner with endless affection.
Elvis and Alfie are a nice pair of long-haired guineas, who are not a year old yet. They don’t mind being handled and can be very chatty at veg time.
We have two rabbits looking for separate homes, both neutered females, Fluffy and Bubbles. We are ideally looking for homes where they could be bonded with a neutered husbun.
We often get asked what food would be useful to us. We have lots of dogs on special diets, from grain free to high in calorie, to low calorie and a few in between, so we would really appreciate grain-free dog food, wet and dry, and Winalot tins in jelly.
For the cats we appreciate non-fish in jelly, either sachets or tins. Many thanks.
