Shirley Mills and Bill Eugster have been co-opted as trustees on the board.

Shirley is registered manager at Bell View Help at Home in Belford, and has been very active in community affairs in Glendale, including the Christmas Day lunch. Until earlier this year she was a GGT trustee nominated by Wooler Parish Council.

Bill has just retired as a community minister. The Wooler Community Food Garden is just one of many initiatives he has helped set up and run.

Patrick Sheard, trust chairman, said: “We very much welcome Shirley and Bill to our number, and are grateful to them for the skills and community knowledge they will bring to our deliberations.”
