New songs on the bill at acoustic concert

A Northumberland singer-songwriter will perform in Wooler this weekend.

Gareth Davies-Jones will be playing new songs and works on Saturday at the Cheviot Centre, from 7.30pm.

Recognised by commentators as an established talent in the troubadour tradition, Gareth is a seasoned singer-songwriter/guitarist.

Combining roots, acoustic and folk traditions, his evocative songs have been said to have an honesty, depth and passion that has seen them featured across BBC national and local radio.

Originally from County Down, but now resident in Northumberland, Gareth has released eight solo albums and has been touring professionally for more than 13 years. Gareth’s live shows aim to be enjoyable events that celebrate the grand tradition of storytelling through song.
