Coastwatch Berwick volunteers take shifts in watching over the beaches and bays of Berwick and assisting in search and rescue operations. The volunteers also listen out for incidents of marine distress via radio.

Anne-Marie said: “It was great to meet the team at Coastwatch Berwick and thank them for the service they provide to our community and hear about what a typical shift is like for the volunteers.”

The team is looking for more volunteers to join.
