“I have several weeks of meetings with various local organisations, businesses and charities already lined up, but the tour means constituents can come along to talk to me in their area.

“It is a really great way of ensuring I am as accessible as possible despite the size of my constituency.”

The MP, whose constituency spans over 1,000 square miles, will hold open surgeries at 61 locations throughout the area, open to all constituents to pop by without an appointment. Mrs Trevelyan is also using the tour to visit local businesses, charities and community groups.
