Motorbikes to light up Berwick in aid of RNLI

The Berwick Goldwing Light Parade returns this weekend for the fourth consecutive year.

Up to 80 motorcyclists are expected to take part in an evening parade around Berwick town centre on Saturday.

The evening parade is at 8.30pm with a fireworks display from 9pm. It will follow a circuit down Marygate, Hide Hill, Bridge Street, Old Bridge and returning via the New Bridge.

Earlier in the day, there will be a static display at The Parade car park from 10am to 4pm where owners will be on hand to help visitors learn more about the bikes. There will be hot and cold food, drinks and live music from 6pm.

On Friday evening, there will be a mini-parade at Haggerston Castle Holiday Park. The static display will start at 7.30pm at the fountain, with the judging at 8.30pm. and the parade round the park at 9pm

The event is free to attend but donations for the RNLI will gratefully be accepted.
