Morrison’s shoppers support Marie Curie

Marie Curie, which provides much needed support and care to people living with a terminal illness, joined forces with Morrison’s Berwick for the annual Great Daffodil Appeal and raised a staggering £1,915.79, thanks to local people who kindly volunteered a few hours of their time to take donations in exchange for a daffodil pin badge.

She added: “Every March, millions of people across the UK show their support for our work, simply by giving a donation to wear a daffodil pin and we are very thankful to each and every one.”

“Without this generosity, thousands of families across the UK wouldn’t be able to make the most of the precious time they have left together”

The charity will be continuing with this record breaking streak and would ask anyone that could spare a few hours to volunteer to call the fundraising office on 0191 0191 219 1240
