Hosted by Business Northumberland, attendees will be given the opportunity to hear about fully-funded, tailored support available to businesses within the manufacturing sector. There will also be the opportunity to network with other local businesses and explore collaboration opportunities.

Presentations will be given by Business Northumberland, Transmit Consulting, SWP Engineering and the Advanced Manufacturing Forum, before opening the floor for a discussion of the issues affecting the sector within north Northumberland.

Richard Wearmouth, chairman of Arch, said: “We have a strong manufacturing sector in north Northumberland and we want to bring these businesses together and ensure that they are capitalising on the business support opportunities that are available to them.

“We are also keen to understand what manufacturers in the local area have to say about the issues affecting them, and how we can tailor our business support to continue to meet their needs over the lifetime of the Business Northumberland programme and beyond.”

The event is from 9am to 1pm at Berwick Workspace. Email James.Holloway@arch-group.co.uk to reserve a place.
