Maden Eco villa style house granted planning at the Cornhill Road development.

The firm secured planning permission for a 30-home development after winning its appeal to the planning inspectorate.

It has released a taster of one of the house types, a three or four-bedroom villa. It will also have a semi-detached version for first-time buyers.

The layout in this property includes front-to-back lounge, dining room, utility, kitchen with garden access, three bedrooms, one ensuite dressing room.

The scheme had previously been refused by Northumberland County Council’s north area planning committee in December 2014 following concerns raised by nearby businesses about the possible noise impact on residents.
