Owner Bryon Longbone thanked Kevin for his years of work, wished him well and hoped that he would be at Longbone’s for another 40 years. Back in 1976, it didn’t seem likely that HB Longbone & Son would become possibly the largest stockist of curtains, in all its forms, in several counties, or be selling internationally and online. The experience and knowledge that Kevin and all his colleagues have – going on for 200 years collectively – may be unusual today but is definitely something that works to the benefit of Longbone’s clients.
