Litter bins to be replaced

New litter bins replacing damaged ones are to be provided around Berwick.

They are at Flagstaff Park near the tennis courts; behind Tweedmouth Bowling Club along the riverside; close to the pavilion on Spittal Promenade; opposite Aldi on the North Road; on the Quay Walls by the steps from the Granary; beside the Newfields turning; and the grass opposite the turning to Douglas Close, which would be used for dog poo and rubbish from McDonald’s.

To date, no litter bins have been purchased in the current financial year, leaving £920 in the budget for them.
