Learner driver challenge calls at Berwick

The Children in Need learner driver challenge called in at Berwick Garden Centre on Sunday so drivers could swap over on their round-Britain relay.

The Children in Need learner driver relay challenge stoppied at Berwick Garden Centre to change over drivers on their round Britain relay.

The Big Learner Relay Pudsey Top Box is being relayed from one driving school car to the next over the 15-day event, covering 3000 miles worth of driving lessons.

They are hoping to smash last year’s total of £99,800.

The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge also passed through north Northumberland last week on a 470-mile journey from Jedburgh to central London, all to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

Lots of local schools are also getting in on the fund-raising act.

This year’s appeal show will take place tonight, live on BBC One, jointly hosted by Graham Norton alongside Tess Daly, Greg James, Ade Adepitan, Rochelle Humes and Marvin Humes.
