At Wooler and District Camera Club members were able to share Ian’s passion when he presented an illustrated talk on the Southern National Parks of America.

From the opening shot of a deserted, straight ribbon of asphalt disappearing into a clouded blue horizon the audience knew that it would be macro and majestic.

Ian’s images took us into a world of colourful rocks, deep canyons and sculpted shapes that remain as signatories to past geological events that have moulded the landscape into one of awesome beauty.

Ian’s pictures captured the magnificence of the parks.

The next meeting of Wooler Camera Club is today (Thursday), at 7.30pm in the Glendale Hall, when there will be a competition evening. All are welcome.
