Martin gave us a very interesting hour, demonstrating the Debibrillator, how to use the equipment and how to perform “C.P.R”.

There are several “defibs” in and around our villages. These are monitored and kept up to date regularly. We were shown how to open the equipment, the various items inside and their uses.

The absolute necessity of rendering first aid as these sudden instances can occur to anyone at any age, children included. Familiarisation training had included the manual necessity of C.P.R. We were also shown how to place a person into the recovery position if required.

After the Vote of Thanks and refreshments the normal business part of the meeting continued.
