North Sunderland and Seahouses WI hosted the annual get-together of all seven WIs in the Lindisfarne Group.
It was a happy occasion, with members enjoying catching up with friends. Reports were given and WIA Brenda Houlison brought us up to date with the Northumberland Federation.
A craft competition for producing twiddle muffs to help dementia sufferers resulted in an amazing array of items. Annette Manning, of Beadnell, was third, while Marilyn Martin, of Bamburgh, took both first and second places. Competitors donated their entries to be passed on to deserving cases. Convenor Pat Brand is charged with finding good homes for them.

Our evening was crowned with Music and Laughter. Bob Bolam amused us with funny stories in local dialect, making observations on everyday life. His friend Richie Newbegin entertained us with toe-tapping music.
